MISSION
The mission of the Department of Exact Sciences (LCE) is to develop and deliver high-quality teaching, research and continuing education programs of international standing in Mathematics and Statistics (ME) and Chemistry (Q) in agricultural and environmental sciences and its applications, that contribute to the creation of qualified and ethical professionals for the continuous development of the Brazilian society.

LCE strives to establish itself as a national and international leader in teaching, research and continuing education in Mathematics and Statistics (ME) and Chemistry (Q), in the field of agricultural, food, environmental and biological sciences, economics, forestry and applications.
